We had the opportunity to shoot Ali and Sabeen’s amazing, multi-day wedding event in New Jersey. The colors of this wedding are completely stunning. Here is the highlight film from their wedding events.
Last month I had the amazing opportunity to head off to Mali, West Africa to shoot stills and video for a non-profit called Global Partners In Hope. They work to bring clean water and heath clinics to rural villages. It was an awesome experience and I can only hope to get to do more of it. Here are some of my favorite images from Mali. Most of the images capture the day to day life of people in Bamako (capital city) and out in the villages. I hope you enjoy. – Matt
This next shot is without question one of my favorite images I have ever captured. This shot was taken at the end of the work day and this bus functioned as a taxi and was overflowing with people trying to get home. Her face tells such a story.
I had to get my picture taken with the village hunters.
We just finished the client viewing of Ron and Pam’s film. They are a ton a fun and the Magnolia in downtown Omaha was a great venue as always.
We were asked to shoot some “behind the scenes” footage of the cover shoot for Nebraska Wedding Day. Geoff Johnson, our good friend and one of the best photographers we know, was the one commissioned to shoot the cover. Here’s what we came up with.
Megan and Kevin had an amazing November day to have their wedding. Considering in Omaha there could have been a foot of snow on the ground I think a little chill in the air was pretty easy to deal with. Their wedding was at St. Roberts church and the reception was at The Paxton building in downtown Omaha.
Daniel Muller shot this wedding with us. He is doing some great work, you should check him out.
Beau and Lela were married at the Magnolia Hotel in downtown Omaha. We shoot a ton of weddings at the Magnolia. It’s definitely one of our favorite venues in Omaha. Here are some of our favorite images from there wedding.

[...] This wedding had us at the bold cobalt blue color palette. We loved the attention to detail, the bride and grooms smiling faces and the bright blooms. This wedding was shot by Bellus Photo + Film at Magnolia Hotel in Downtown Omaha. For more images, click here. [...]
Okay, so his name isn’t Frenchy, it’s Stephen. But it was made clear to me at the start of our shoot, if I wanted him to respond I would have much better luck with Frenchy. They were both so amazing to shoot I had no problem calling him whatever he wished. Anna is a photographer here in Omaha and I love shooting other photographers. It’s always and honor and it makes it so easy. Enjoy some of my favorites.

Great pictures Matt!
Matt – These are incredible! Can’t wait to see the rest. Awesome pic at the end – you and the hunters – beautiful!! I am so glad you were a part of the team : ) Blessing to you~
Whoa. The horse and cart in the field shot is ridiculous… and so is your tattoo in the last image.
